Rhacotis Free Trade Zone & Logistics Hub

Alexandria has always been a major Mediterranean trading hub in Egypt. The Port of Alexandria is the main seaport in the country. The Egyptian Government is undertaking significant efforts to develop Dekheila Port (which is the western part of the Alexandria seaport). Today, approximately 60% of foreign trade to and from Egypt moves through the port of Alexandria. Within its comprehensive plan, the Government is creating new deep water berths to accommodate larger ships, with the new Pier 100 nearby, as well as establishing new shipping lines. TRG-ME owns 50 acres with current market valuation of $458m with post-development valuation in excess of $2bn. Asset purchased by current owner in 2008 with title held by a USA LLC.

Rhacotis Business Park

The business park covers 25% of the land and will be built using globally recognized smart and green technologies to create over 140,000 m2 of office space to service a wide range of shipping and logistics companies alongside business, technology and other specialists that benefit from location inside a Free Trade Zone with excellent port/airport links. The park will be developed in 4 phases and will include a mosque, large underground carpark and entertainment, and food & beverage facilities to support the large workforce using both the industrial and business park. Some beautiful and iconic buildings form a key part of this planning alongside major plants that include companies from the EV Battery, data center and gold refinery sectors.
